Thatcham Divers
We are a group of friends living in the Thatcham area of Berkshire who enjoy diving together. Most of our diving is in the UK and takes in various inland sites as well as the many excellent coastal locations. We also arrange occasional trips abroad for ourselves and other friends. These have included Malta, The Canary Islands, Spain, France, Ireland and Egypt.

RED SEA TRIPS
We seem to have got into the enjoyable habit of visiting the Red Sea every couple of years, and this continues into 2012.
2006 & 2008
Our first trip was aboard Cyclone in February 2006, followed, in March 2008 by a great week aboard Whirlwind (both from the Tornado Fleet). On both these trips we dived the wrecks and reefs of the northern Red Sea.
2010
This proved to be a bit of a challenge - we had booked onto Whirlwind again for their 'Get Wrecked' tour, but Iceland decided to set off one of their big fireworks a couple of days before we travelled! The volcano caused the trip to be scrapped and we had to transfer to another tour, so we opted for a southern reef trip around St. Johns on board Sea Serpent.
2012
Our next trip is a re-run of the one originally planned for 2010. We will be flying out of Gatwick to spend a week aboard Whirlwind, from 17th to 24th March, diving the major wrecks of the northern Rea Sea on Scuba Travel's "Get Wrecked" itinerary.
